What a powerful and transformational year 2020 was! On some level, every one of us had to level up again last year. 2020 challenged our limited beliefs, perceived weaknesses and really showed us more than ever how important of a shift in consciousness this planet is truly being moved through. For those of you who are doing the work, healing, opening your heart and even stepping into your purpose… Gratitude. Sometimes the most chaos occurs right before you align with what is meant for you.
How are you settling into the new year and the new energy? Numerically, 2021 = 5 = destined life change. With the first new moon of 2021 in Capricorn on January 13, I share these two rituals to guide you into the new year with inspiration.
The first new moon of the year is one of the best starting blocks for getting missions in motion…Power to Make Your Dreams Come True! What do you want to create?
Capricorn is a period of being focused on planning, strategy and bringing our dreams and ideals into fruition physically. With the Sun joining Pluto most of the week, there’s immense willpower at your disposal. Your power is being activated strongly. This is all about embracing your power as a soul, to make your dreams come true. We are all capable of amazing things if we just believe in the guidance and stay true to that child within. It's about choosing love over fear, every time.
SET YOUR INTENTIONS
Set your intentions that warm your heart and light you up with joy and excitement…and stay committed! Capricorn is all about consistent effort, building something big for the long run. Set systems and actions in place for achieving your goals. Start over. Forgive and release the past so you can start fresh from now.

After completing your intentions or goals, close your eyes, connect with your heart and visualise yourself already having achieved your goals, AS IF. Allow any feelings and sensations that arise to come up without judging them. Feeling fear is natural when you’re stepping out of your comfort zone. Repeat the ritual until you have up to three resolutions or intentions for 2021 that light you up. Place your 2021 Intentions where you can see them regularly or place them under a crystal to give them an extra metaphysical charge until after the next full moon.
CAPRICORN SALT BATH
SELF LOVE! A Capricorn New Moon is always a grounding influence and a good time to reconnect with the Earth. Complete your new year intention setting with a cellular reset for the year on every level with a nurturing “salt of the earth” bath. Combine Epsom salts, baking soda and several drops of essential oils such as bergamot, frankincense, jasmine or orange to running bath water. Just Be. Relax. Let Go.
2020 was not a wasted year. It was a year to wake-up, to realign our values and to view things in a new way. Use all that you have learnt and apply it to whatever seeds of intention you plant on this Capricorn New Moon.
